How It Started

Hi! I’m Lauren Curtis, founder of Loungeface.

I created my YouTube channel in 2011 when I was just 18. Now, over 12 years later, it's amazing to look back and reflect on everything that I faced during that time.

First loves, first heartbreaks, life-changing successes, embarrassing failures, radical self-acceptance, crippling self-doubt, unforgettable moments, regretful decisions, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, missed opportunities, a newfound sense of self.

Life isn’t linear, but I don’t think anyone wants it to be. Every experience shapes us into the people we are today.

While I was going through many of these experiences publicly, millions of you were also experiencing them alongside me. We grew up together. We shared our knowledge with one another; our favourite products, advice, goals and aspirations.

Our Vision

Loungeface was created out of a desire to make high-quality, reliable makeup products that could take you through whatever stage of life you were going through. The highs and the lows. Not only did I want to make sure the formulas were tried and tested (after trialling thousands of makeup products over the years, I know what works!), but I also got your feedback before every single product was created. I want you to feel like this brand is catered to you, because it is.
